#olderandgreener
By George Lee •
Challenging the stereotypes through images, The Centre for Ageing Better has launched a powerful collection of images of older people around the theme of #olderandgreener.
When it comes to climate change, older people are among those groups most at risk from the effects of the climate emergency. Yet their voices are rarely sought when it comes to solving the crisis. They are blamed for the climate crisis and the media churns out headline after headline claiming that older people do not care about the climate crisis. As Professor Bobby Duffy shares in his story for This Age Thing this myth that older people do not care, is far from the truth.
And to illustrate this, The Centre for Ageing Better have created a wonderful collection of free to use photos on the theme of #OlderAndGreener.
So share these photographs widely and use the hashtag #OlderAndGreener to celebrate what older people are doing to become more green.
